Session 2 ASC Registration

New Registration Instructions

In an effort to streamline and improve the registration process, we will be transitioning from the current registration system to a pre-registration lottery system. We believe this change will provide a more equitable opportunity for students to participate in the afterschool club.

Here are the key details regarding the new pre-registration lottery process:

  1. Pre-Registration Period:

    • The pre-registration period will be from December 4th to December 8th.

    • You can indicate your child’s interest in the afterschool club during this time.

  2. Lottery Process:

    • After the pre-registration period closes, a lottery will be conducted to determine the selection of students.

    • This lottery system aims to ensure a fair and random selection process.

    • Priority will be given to:

      • Students who participated in the first semester of ASC

      • Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch

  3. Payment Information and Lottery Outcome Notification:

    • No payment will be charged during the pre-registration period.

    • Payment will only be processed after the lottery and pre-registration have been approved and marked completed for your child.

    • The school will promptly notify you if your child is selected for the afterschool club.

We understand that change can be challenging, but we believe this adjustment will ultimately benefit all families by providing a more accessible process for after-school club participation and eliminating the issues with processing payment at the time of registration.
